Shear Beauty Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

Shear Beauty

Lands and acres of untouched skin
lay on your body.
Starting from the crater on your stomach,
all the way down to your hip
to your thigh
to your leg
back up to your thigh
smoothly travel to the other thigh
then to your hip
and back to where I started.
I'll kiss your neck
with my hand clasped to your waist
like they were from the same skin
while my forearm circumnavigates your back.

We've never felt something so right.

It's beautiful.
Shear beauty.
Perfect symmetry, your body and mine.
Skin meets warm skin,
Souls meet Nirvana,
Eyes search for something that's not there
and satisfied when they meet expressionless
(yet deeply passionate)
windows into each others soul.

Sex is nice.
Making love is divine.
Exquisite.
An exercise accidentally passed down from the Gods
Because mere mortals shouldn't experience such pleasure.
Good thing that when we're together
we're invincible.
