Shelf Life Poem by Robert R. Railey

Shelf Life

Shelf Life

On this earth, but a wink or two,
Before we're called to answer
For the tawdry life that we have lived
While rising above the tangles

It's not the end that frightens us so,
It's the fear of the great uncertainty
Of not knowing how long our next
Life will last or if it'll be for eternity
