Do you ever feel as worries build
It is more than you can endure?
Your heart is filled with sadness
Your pain is raw and pure

But when our heart is linked to Jesus
We seem sheltered from our sins
With God’s arms warmly around us
As each fresh new day begins

A peacefulness surrounds us
And our life begins to change
The love we feel for Jesus
Takes away self-doubting blame

I think we that find our worries
Aren’t so strong we can’t walk away
We don’t have to carry those burdens
Heavily on our shoulders every day

The thoughts that once hurt badly
Seem to take a new-found tone
And we don’t feel we must handle
All our problems all alone!
