it seemed like a fairytale
she'd be walking the footsteps of an angel
grace yet glows with a sweet heart
as her eyes twinkle like sparkling diamonds
as she sees her knight in shining armor under the umbrella
as it rains over her head
while pattering softly against the windowpane
with her dreamy look falling down
like stars in the sky
she'd smile like a star she'd be
walking side by side while tilting her head
toward the right of his direction
which would brighten his world all day night
it seemed like a dream so bizarre
and yet they'd both put it in their jars
as feeling so warmhearted
while songs of the cupid sings gleefully
like the deer prancing lightly upon the meadow field
where he'd bring roses
she'd bring the shine like chestnuts roasting over an open fire
where he'd bring a present wrapped with a bow
she'd bring a heart load of sparkling love just for him
it won't be long
til the start of a brand new world
blooming of crimson red and soft blue
as her darkness of tears was brushed away
with the sweetness of his soothing voice
like the ocean waves calling to her
come into his arms
sing a lullaby just for her to hear
as she'd put her head on his shoulder
and from lips apart
they'd see a shooting star
alighting the night full of its wishes threading through the starry sky
please turn that frown upside down
forevermore forevermore
there'd be those two shooting stars dazzling the night full of wonders
