Should I Come To Bed Poem by Leaking Pen

Should I Come To Bed

Should I come to bed?
It's cold there...
When you are not there
To hold me, caress me
And kiss me.

Should I stay up late?
Wishing, dreaming of you
I get the shivers down my spine
I wait with anticipation.

We just met,
But I know I know, I know,
It feels right.
You feel the same about me
As if we've been together
In a previous life, in eternity
It feels good.

No resistance
Just pure harmony
Between us:
Like a river finding its path
From a time long ago
My heart led me back to you.

Friends ask me about my new glow
That comes from within:
I radiate each time I mention your name.
My innocence is reborn from my capture
And my steel armour is fully disengaged
And now with true love I freely roam
Like seagulls over vast blue oceans!
