Should It Be? Poem by Maphoka Lenkoe

Should It Be?

Rating: 4.5

When you are away my love I wonder,
When all that's left is thoughts of you,
When imprints of your touches fade,
When your scent is slowly coming out off my skin,
When your voice I can hardly recall,
I wonder,
Should this be? Should we be?

No no no don't break it off, he is still your love. Great piece and I love it.

A well articulated and nicely encapsulated piece of poetry, elegantly penned with insight. For people who truly love each other, ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER. I guess the adage answers the questions. A lovely poem bristling with wisdom. Thanks for sharing Maphoka. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
