SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS

Heavens' river overflows from high
Drenching furrows of the earth
Thirsting plains sprout, joyously cry
Mountains streams are joy-girded

Heavens trumpet as blessing pour
Farmers celebrate a new harvest
Flocks grace on rich green valley floor
Whole creation rejoices in the fest

Barns are full, stacked with grains
Fattened herd provide abundant milk
Famine banished, crowning year reigns
Sari clad maidens dance bringing mirth

Heavens shower blessing
Hope of high crops yielding
Rainbow days of rejoicing
God's love overflowing
