Shut Up Poem by Weldon Davis

Shut Up

Rating: 5.0

Each day beautiful insights
Come
Some subtle some in visions
Maybe I'll comprehend them
If-
I'll shut up and listen

If I'm silent
And they're silent
Then there is nothing really to say
In this world of broken relationships
Seems I always want my way

Nobody hurts like I hurt
Nobody needs companionship like I do
Silly to think that
Really I ought to
Just

Shut up and listen
Every once in a while
Then
I might actually
Learn something

No. Weldom. Your 'Shut Up' to mention makes a difference to all. Your insights to remain beautiful with wishes to stay, Must be brought to the attention of others. Too many have been caught up with a doing to pay attention. But today your point of view has to be spoken 'and' mentioned, For others to stop, hear and listen. You have written a both subtle, Yet powerful poem. I love it. Thank you.
