Sick Of Trying Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Sick Of Trying

Rating: 2.8

Trying to win,
I swear it's a sin,
god made impossible,
sometimes you feel unstoppable,
until you realize,
your stuck,
in the same rut,
trying to get out is a pain in the butt.
Sick of Trying,
So Sick of Trying,
Maybe I'm lying
and I got the will to
go on,
but it seems so hopeless,
Can't cope with this,
I'm sick of it making
me sad or pissed,
And I miss the feel of a kiss,
but it looks like I stepped
in a pile of S***.

Coming up short,
yet again,
Muff it,
who said I need friends,
Who said I need anybody,

I'm just sick of trying and coming up short.
