Sight Blurred Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Sight Blurred

Rating: 5.0

Sight blurred

Eyesight blurred
legs buckled
pain remains unabated
age is likely reason and stated

grandchildren surround
and sound with cheers
I remember my childhood
I dream and feel good

was it not an exception?
where we care little about the relation
moved with only innocence
without feeling tense

I role back
and stake
at the present age
with an incapacity to manage

I feel no energy
and pray to an almighty
to give strength and courage
to bear it and pass the phase
