Silence Poem by Ernesto Torres

Silence

Silence...
is all that's left
its a sentence
one that does not rest

It is a consequence
of all the nonsense
that humanity repeats
and they consider treats

Until the fighting
and the spiting
ends the sin
god will send

Silence
as our sentence
of shame
for we are to blame

Of all the pain
we caused in vain
and the blood we stain
just for fame

Now the world is ruined
from all the war and famine
the world is ruined
now we all live in tins

all that is left is silence...
