Silence Poem by Waliur Rahman

Silence

Rating: 5.0

Lying on the same divan
Topple sided, face away from face
No words exchanged, no touch felt
The clock struck three
The airconditioner noise was but a relief
From the deadly silence of the two bodies
Lying on the same divan

Yes your words are very true but silence too has a voice which needs careful handling. If well attended nurtures berries sweet and healthy. Beautiful creation. Thank-you.
