Silence And Or Inaction Poem by Hebert Logerie

Silence And Or Inaction

Silence kills
Inaction kills
Be active, not passive
Be alive and be ready to live
Say something
Do something
To save the world
And our people
Too many lives are destroyed
Too many people are unemployed
Stop being afraid
‘Cause when you're dead
It is too late to be brave
Stop being a poor slave
Who simply obeys like a zombie
Be alive; be ready to sting like a bee
Be informative to choose the right leader
Be assertive and don't just be a follower
Don't be afraid to speak out and to write
Expose the wrong and fight the right fight
Sometimes, there's one chance and one life
You were born to struggle, to fight and to laugh
At the airheaded narcissist who lies repeatedly
Life's experience is the best university
Don't stop learning. Be courageous and strong
Nobody is right all the time, being wrong
Is a sign of motivation and dedication
Silence is terrible, don't practice inaction
Voice your concerns, opinions, and comments
And let the steams out of the vents
Silence is expensive
Inaction is destructive.
