Silenced Poem by Naveed Akram

Silenced

I am silenced by my gun of chance and success,
My guns below are the guns above, so seep into sleep
Of the barrage and bomb, the trench of eternal struggle.
My gun exploits like dice of the deathly dance, of tiers
Developing so well to the tune of ravines, sections and sights.

I am exploring a goal to hit the overlord, his demise strikes
At hearts of steel, clinking like clocks of divisions, of time
Remedying the bridges of the eyes, of the ears and hearing.
So decide now on more assassins, more crawling babies,
Whose bite can maime me another time, another time of time.

My guns, my guts, and my goal connect to the other side,
Their river is forward and interrupted by rocks of the socks
Worn by devils, chained in the middle of the void of space.
The universe grows and expands according to the point of
My undertaking, its gun is mine, its laugh is time, and I am mine.
