Since For It Poem by Francis Duggan

Since for it I never receive money for pay
I have been advised by some for to give rhyming away
But compared to their big dreams in life mine are so small
And money it does not interest me at all
Their values in life are quite different to mine
But this is their business and this suits me fine
They do not need to tell me one needs money to live
And also that free advice is easy to give
Though material and monetary success in life is not my due
To my higher self I can only live true
And I never would consider for to give rhyming away
Since I do look forward to writing new rhymes every day
And I hope to be rhyming until the day I do die
If I did tell you different this would be a lie.
