Sinking Poem by Cad Daven

Sinking

I'm sinking in quick sand
that's how I feel
Don't know how I'm going to get my next meal
I've lost everything and I don't know why
Maybe alcohol or maybe I'm high
Never listened to what people say
Never took their advice
Did things my own way
With just the clothes on my back
Watching all the homeless smoking crack
Girls turning tricks just to get by
Sleeping on the sidewalk
Living a big, big lie
I'm sinking in quick sand
I'm sinking fast
Can't move forward
Can't live in the past
I've lost everything I don't why
All I want to do is get high

Can not move forward can not take rest, so drugs should be left. Wonderful advice/
