Sitting On A Cloud

Sitting on a cloud
In the middle of the sky
Watching the world
As it passes by
Star dust
From the heavens
Falls slowly
Gently, like a leaf in autumn
Night turns to day
As twice as quickly as it came
One moment there
The next moment not
Shining sunsets
And rising dawns
Each one more special
Than the last
Each one a memory I hold dear

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
