Sitting quietly in the dark


Sitting quietly in the dark
Light thoughts enter my mind
Lifting me above myself
On a bright path

Is this the path I have to follow?
Is this the path written for me?
Is this the path my feet should walk?

I have seen what I had dreamed of,
And now am ready to embrace my destiny,
Yet a fear grips the heart that beats,
And stops it from stepping ahead taking the leap.
