Sky-Liners Poem by Rokket Grrl

Sky-Liners

Rating: 4.0

Wings Spread
Heart heavy as lead
Cool Breeze
Weak knees
Increasing speed
Air's no need
Rising high
Cloudy sky
Fly away
Towards yesterday
Gliding easy
Feeling queazy
Peace from the city rush
Not a word-not a hush
Landing hard on the ground
Looking foreign all around
Dreams in of home in my head
Now relaxed-no more dread
Cool Breeze still here
Making me feel home is near
Take a break-Take ten
In the sky and home again

A nice poem with movement & natural flow. Nicely done. You made us fly with you in this poem. Spiritsong
