Sleep And Death Poem by Srijeeta Manna

Sleep And Death

Rating: 4.0

The wall between my mind and soul
takes away my might as a whole.
I lay here
lifeless, motionless and still,
resembling death.
Yet, I breathe deep inside
sunk in the ocean of sleep.
Losing in the depth of dreams,
me immersed in me.
Fathoms of darkness and light I travel...
I travel to reach there,
to unravel the mystery
of the simple distance between sleep and death
which is getting lesser slowly.

I loved the way you arranged the words in you poem. I felt pleasure in reading them. Losing in the depth of dreams, me immersed in me. What a thought. Sleep is half death Nice work
