Sleep Little Lion Poem by MTHOKOZISI NTOKOZO MAPHUMULO

Sleep Little Lion

Fold yourself inside a bull skin
It is very cold here outside
It summer but it feels like winter
What make it called summer is just outside looking conditions
That what you be loath for
Hypocrisy, perfume smelling roses and slugger
In the darkness of Africa you make the light shine
You clear the man made overcast in his mind
Set him free and let him see what roses look like
Finally you make him touch them
After that you blow the wind so that he can come to smell them
The minds grew healthy and powerful with no nutritious
They say knowledge is wisdom
That what your strength is
In the dark in the light the flowers never halt to smell sweet
But switch of the light and put it under a table
Close the window and left the room dark
And tell your self the lies that it shall die
Lies, lies, lies, lies
The are many similarly looking flowers outside
You cannot limit them outside
Their seeds are growing restive over the day and night of hit and coldness
They survive the century of fires
They have always been prepared to die
Never again shall they fall down
Their stem does not overshoot over night
They go a wide distance underground
Until they come up when the root is ready for all inconvenient burning processes over the ground
Let the ground left unlevelled
Fill the soil with professional laden still unlocking fuel
Do not hold your light
But switch it even shinier
Until the more people are getting used to sweet smelt of it production over time
That is when they will desire to feel it distanced touch
Zoom, zoom, and zoom
No microscopes no mollifying sunglasses
But don’t soak up the sun, watch your silver lining
Here is the baby boon
His name is Private Sector Economy with a nickname TNC
I hate to say I love you but I have to say I do love you
My future president, I see more changes in your hands
Julius Malema
Long live combrade Malema, long lived
