Sleep peaceful now our little one
You've left us way to soon
Sleep peaceful now our little child
Let us sing this painful tune

You are now a little angel
Taken up above
You'll not be forgotten
We still shower you with love

Ours is not to reason how
Or to reason why
Sleep peaceful now our little one
You up in heavenly sky

Sleep peaceful now our little man
Let us take you by the hand
You will always, be in our hearts
I think you understand

And when we see the stars at night
We'll see the brightest star
And know that is our little one
We see from afar
