Sleeping Poem by Casey Taylor

Sleeping

Apples are so juicy
Biting into them are great
Condescending in my mouth
Dogs also eat apples
Entering into the garden
Forgetting the times we had
Getting the apples off the tree
Heaving them up after a while
Into the night I fly as a vampire
Joking around with my vampirc family
Killing animals to keep from feeding on humans
Lycans attack me like there is no tomorrow
My mind races after breaking their necks
Nothing is immortal
Openly disguised as a monk
People ask me
Questions I cannot answer
Roaring like a lion I leap upon my prey
Something grabs me from behind
Throwing me far
Up in the air I am free
Visualizing wings, they spout out
Wondering who threw me I see
Xavier my brother kissing the lycan
Yonder I wonder if it’ll happen to me
Zzz… I was asleep in the garden
