Sleepless Night With To Many Thoughts Running Amok Poem by Kristi Wilson

Sleepless Night With To Many Thoughts Running Amok

Pressed between the pages, glimmering sparks.
I seek you out, thus I am left to wonder.
I stay strong and grounded as I hear the sound.
Far off in the distance, the melody plays and I am reminded of what I will not forget.
With the Spring in my step I want to come find you.
I wax and wane and keep it to myself.
I bare the fruit and it is forbidden.
My feelings are as deep as the oceans.
The cascading falls, of no direction.
The earth beneath my feet still firm yet shaking and humming.
Destiny says leave it alone… how am I to do so? Are you sure?
I read once somewhere, your honey is my destiny. I thought… could it be?
Am I mistaken?
A heart beating in code.
Is it me?
What do I do?
I have so many questions.
