Slowly You Forget Slowly You Forgive Poem by Dorsey Baker

Slowly You Forget Slowly You Forgive

Rating: 5.0

Teeth on edge
Clinched tight
Body bursting
With negative energy
Combustible
Brain bottled up
About to pop a top

Feeding on
The bitter taste of
Being betrayed
Slowly becoming
A monster
An animal
Without self control
Hard boiled egghead
Slowly you forget
Slowly you forgive
Never all at once
It's a process!
