Slumber Little Child!

Slumber little child!
Outside the rains be wild
On the glass-windows pattering!

For who slumbers at the time
That he should slumber
Will have peace of mind.

And out dangers will slumber
And wake at peaceful times
And peace will be, not just a pious word!
