Smile dear heart, smile,

Do not show those tears to the mind,

It will destroy every bit of you,

So lie dear heart, just smile....



It says you have no reason to cry,

So show the mind that it's right...

It doesn't have to know your fears,

Hide dear heart, just smile...



Smile,

Keep smiling,

You are glass dear one,

The mind can break you anytime,

You must fake it...

Just smile...smile...

Fool the mind,

Let it not crush you,

Let it not look beyond your lies,

You must try, you have to try...



Lie, hide, don't cry!

Smile dear heart, smile!

Smile even as you die alive...
