Smile For Me Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Smile For Me

Rating: 5.0

You smile
and watch me from behind your bangs.
Your sweatshirt,
pratically branding me.
You watch
my movements
and smile when you see me.
The smile becomes happier, but yet,
you can hardly tell
when you see
I still wear you shirt.
When I ask
if you want it back
you smile and shrug.
And now,
I ask you, why?
You won't look at your ex
for more than a second,
even though she hangs around you.
Constantly.
Didn't you notice?
Hmm, now you know.
You tease and kid me playfully,
call me pretty.
We talk
we smile
we laugh.
Enough hints have been dropped.
I'm done with this.
Now, I say, listen.
I love you.
Come on, smile for me one more time.
