Smile May Appear Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No one is hopeful of avoiding third world war
We wish it should remain distant and very far
We don't know what colossal destruction it may bring?
But certainly it will be horrified tale not worth to sing

Where do we see then our destiny and future?
Can we look upon divine power or nature?
Some of the wars are likely over distribution of land?
Generation of friendship has turned them to foe from friends

River waters are another burning problem
Sharing of water is in fact worrying them
This can be tackled at convenient level
Rest all may turn good when it has difference to tell

We, as poet, dream of turning it as heaven
This has been made possible even
Even in many places this has been reiterated
Relevant facts are brought, recited and related

One conclusion has been noticed by all for sure
Future generation may bring the issue on fore
Some new development will be made
New seeds may be soiled and covered by spade

New flowers and generation with lovely fragrance
Can any one imagine it to come at once?
We can dream it to happen in near decades
Where violence may be stopped or forbidden

It is life time cherished goal and should be dreamed
Many countries have initiated it and teamed
Let us pray for the good wisdom to prevail
Let all destructive forces realize it or fail

Children may do it and so the pigeons
They may carry messages across the regions
I wish and breathe for the universal happiness
Then only the smile may appear on millions of faces
