to all mothers in the world
these greetings are for you
the hardest tasks that we had done
like a doctor... motherhood is a dignified job too..

our eyes are their windows
our hands are their guide
our words are their mirrors
a good model for them we are...

we tried not to sleep... for them to see the future
we tried not to eat...for them to know what hardship is
we tried not to weep...for them not to worry
we tried to bear the burden...for them to know we love them...

the first to cry when they hurt are WE
the first to laugh when they got awards are WE
the first to coach when teachers assigned them for a program...WE
and WE are the stage mom even if we like it or not...

in the future, as we see good fortune for them
like eagles soaring high
like the stars shining bright
like angels in heaven...we wish them the brightest journey...
