So Far Away Poem by Elisabeth Wingle

So Far Away

Rating: 5.0

Someone to love
Someone to hug
Someone to have and to hold
Until your so very old
And all that's left are memories
Of love and times together
And we can see ourselves
In our youthful days
At play, far away
Far
Far
So far away......

I am proud to say that mom always said Wes is the only hugger in the family. She was 93 when we lost her. a lady. That's why we get along you and I.... good moms

I love this beautiful write Elizabeth, you have captured the loss we feel when we grow old as our family and friends pass away and we are left with distant memories, a hauntingly, beautiful poem!
