So Far I Had Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

So Far I Had

I rubbed off the eyes
And made frantic try
Life is not to keep idle
But face it with struggle

Why should I feel helpless?
And bear frown on face
When world was wide open?
With no halt even

Yes, I had lost the way
But it was not dragging me away
I have to decide now the path
And take peaceful breathe

It is no use I always land in trouble
With foolish action and struggle
It has taken me nowhere
But slapped on face everywhere

Now I have woken to the reality
And always pray almighty
To guide me with good sense
So far I had acted nonsense
