Social Saviors Poem by Sandra Feldman

Social Saviors

Rating: 5.0

It's terrible
When one group of people,
One political party
One Nation,
Tries and pretends
To hold the absolute truth,
Allowing no opposition,
Only their position is correct
It does not give room for expansion
Different opinions, free thinking
Life becomes obtuse, strangled
Dull whited, unintelligent.
Progress, creativity mangled
Thinking and Truth censured.
Perhaps a fate worse than death
For those who have known,
Democracy's light,
And its noble quest,
Be alert!
Political forces are at work
To stifle your liberties,
The freedom that this Country
Gained with so much effort and hurt,
Don't play their fool game of lies,
They say they are Social Saviors
When there is nothing to save
Except their deceit,
Beware always of those,
Who take from others,
And that, what they take
Will keep!
It will not reach the people,
Only their endless, coffers
But liberty and freedom
Will be forever, assassinated,
And like in Cuba and Venezuela,
Only misery and hunger
The People, will get
While "social justice"
Those that do propose it,
Can very easily, forget.

If the wolf knocks at your door
Don't open,
Only hot air, deception and misery,
The end of Liberty and Democracy,
Will you get,
Please remember, you've been warned
Evil is never different, only worse,
Humanity's Curse!

Very well written sentiment about what is going on today. It is very sad that majority of people do not realize how " " Politics of Dependency" will destroy a country, even one as great and big as the United States.

You have very candidly expreeed your internal feelings here... an insightful piece of work that needs serious introspection if anyone takes into consideration!
