I'm a Solomon Islands skink
Stationed at the Lincoln Park Zoo,
Time and place for good work, I think,
For this reptile lizard to do.
Named for Scincidae family,
We from S.I. are largest known,
And like to hang out in a tree
In a circulus fam'ly zone.
Herbivorous - we eat just plant.
Lustrous hues of yellow green scale
From head of triangular slant
To the tip of prehensile tail.
Humans who visit me, I've found,
Enjoy watching me skink around.
