Alignments thousands of years old
today have had their proof of accuracy in construction
reaffirmed by a parade of shadows
and lights across the heavens and earth

Our ancestors took great pride in celestial
observations and developed a complete
religion based on Earths relationship with
The moon, other planets movements,
stars in motion, most notably our own star Sun


From summers feast to winters famine
Time to the ancients in solar measurements
Released visions for all to see when on solstice time
Shadowed places the light did see
