Some Things Never Change
If I leave this world before you do…
Remember me and don’t feel blue.
The times we spent, the love we shared.
Just always know how much I cared.
You made me smile and helped me feel.
With you I knew that love was real.
Something I learned these past few years…
Life is too short to live with fears.
One last line… before I flee…
You were the better part of me.
