I feel like i`m living someone else’s life
As if in the shadow of my wife
For once I’d like to be a man
And show the world that I can

A more loving wife I’ve never seen
A more caring person there has never been
A beautiful smile I’d rather see
Than her shedding a tear over me

Never a moan or even a complaint
She`s got to be the most beautiful saint
I try so hard I give my all
But always on my face I fall

Sweet like a rose she does smell
I think from heaven she fell
I`ve been through life and tried different things
But every time it disappointment brings

She`s always there to help me along
Whenever my heart has run out of song
I come up short no matter how hard I try
I just can`t seem to find the reason why
