Can you hear the sound
The gentle tap at the door
He's been there for so long
Even before you were born

All He seeks is thy good
He comes with news of good tidings
To bring liberation to the oppressed
And freedom to the captives

Eventhough He means well
He wouldn't force His way in
Instead He would rather wait
Awaiting when you would let Him in

Feel your heart beat
Listen to that inner voice
He's the one whispering
Urging you to open up

Don't be too stiff
Nor slow to listen
Open up your heart
And Let Him into your life

His name is Jesus
He loves you so much
All He wants is to come in
To give your life a meaning
