Something Legendary Poem by Dystany Cunningham

Something Legendary

I'm caught among the crowd,
a poetic savage just tryna make it.
In this beautiful life that God created, we lose ourselves among the hatred.

We talked to those who think they understand our impatience, our anger that fuels us from a past engagement. Professionals who tell us that it's just our imagination just because they can't give a true explanation.

I walked in solitude till I opened my eyes to the reality of possibilities, to the true nature of my abilities, you feeling me? I know for myself I will become something legendary.
