Sometimes my voice goes unheard
But I need you to hear me
I feel like I'm buried deep down the earth,
I need you to pull me up.
Sometimes I feel like I am pathetic
I need you to tell me I'm not
When I'm into the air,
I need you to put me on the ground.
Sometimes when I'm sick
I need you to take care of me
When I'm happy
I need you to share in my happiness.
Sometimes when I cry,
I need you to wipe my tears
When I laugh
I need you to laugh with me.
Sometimes when I'm in darkness
I need you to be my light
When I've lost the way
I need you to be my guide
Sometimes when I go weak
I need you to be my strength
When I'm just alone
I need you to be my friend!
