Light my heart with inner feelings - so strong,
For I am longing for you still ever pure;
Give me the singing - of sweet melody, in a song,
So I will know if my assurance is all sure.
Give me your eyes, and each your deepest touch,
For feelings is a language so hard to teach;
You know by now I love truly too much,
All our differences are like an ocean to reach.
Feel for me too, like for an aspiring rose,
For loves like this: contrasting in pursuits;
Each temperament's of time, whither and blows,
But never will it reach down to the roots.
Yes, light my light, with your feelings and touch,
For each of your ways will say to me so much.
