Sonnet: Our Kind And Loving God Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Our Kind And Loving God

I am whatev'r I am, by grace of God!
For all my sins, He did not punish me;
His forgiveness was more than His fair rod;
He showed His love for me each time truly.

God doesn't take ‘tooth for tooth and nail for nail! '
His love for human souls is infinite;
He fights our wars and takes us out on bail;
He makes us holy, much more, bit by bit.

The Father sent His only Son to earth
To suffer, and to die upon the cross;
As ransom for our sins, Christ had His birth;
He is the God who is, will be and was!

All men are sinners born but can be saints;
Untruth and lies about God, satan paints!

Dedicated to all sinners who repent
