Soon We Will Be Dead Poem by Randy McClave

Soon We Will Be Dead

Before the world ends
I want to call you friends,
Before the world is falling
Before God does his final calling,
I want to finally shake your hand
That once was banned,
Or maybe better than this
If I could give you a kiss.
I want to tell you that you are forgiven
As I am spiritual driven,
From the things you have done and said
Soon, we will all be dead.
In revelation it does speak
What happens if the lord you don't seek,
The cowardly, the unbelieving and the vile
No longer will live in denial.
The murderers, and the sexually immoral
Will walk upon jagged, burnt coral,
And the idolaters, and cheaters and liars
Will be consigned to hell's sulfur, and burning fires.
I hope to God that you are saved
And if not you I truly have forgaved,
And if today is that end
I will say goodbye to you, my friend.
