Sorry Poem by Arielle Perkins

Sorry

You have the right to remain silent
If you choose not to scream
I've got something to tell you
Things aren't as they seem

You thought I always lied
But I've got something inside me
Just saying, you don’t know how much I’ve cried
There some thing you’ll never see
I'm sorry if I hurt you
Im sorry if I don’t measure up to your standards
It's just you were not there when I was blue
In my weakest moment yet
So I went searching and I found
Someone else instead

I never meant to hurt you
Never meant to let you down
don’t think that I don’t know
I see all your frowns.
