Sound Of Raindrops Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Sound Of Raindrops

Rating: 1.5

Sitting inside my room
I listen to the sound
The raindrops create
When they fall around

Upon rooftops and trees
As they fall and roll
I listen the sound and
Feel peace in my soul

They fall from clouds
When summer is gone
They bring coolness to the
Earth and hide the sun

To the scorched fields
They give water and crop
I hear the music they make
And wish it should not stop

Sitting inside my room
I watch the pearly drops
When as shining strings they
Slide down from roof tops

The touch that refreshes is the touch of rain drops. The music that excites is the music of rain drops. The poem that is written on the rain drops is touching and exciting.
