Speaking Dog Limerick Poem by Grace Diane Jessen

Speaking Dog Limerick

Rating: 4.8

An old dog who was learning to speak
Had to practice for more than a week,
But now he can say,
'Hello' and 'Good day'
In Portuguese, Russian, and Greek.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Now he is no more in the dark; he just did it all for a lark. Such a joy he can speak, and it just took a week, but now he forgot how to bark!

Wow! That's more than I can do! I can do the Portuguese, but not the Russian or Greek. I do know a few words of Russian, but not the ones mentioned. Flawless form on your limerick. Well done.
