Spirit of humanity

If humanity is an inseparable bond
it must stand none to second
let one not forget the universal fact
the world is thriving on the exploitation act

this is a curse on humanity
we are sent here by an almighty
to live with peace and stability
with the brotherhood and amity

but God is not with us
we have lost the trust
the intelligent people feed us with the wrong notion
they want to control all the nations

they talk of humanity
but kill the spirit of humanity
the innocent blood spills on this holy earth
and still, we sing of our faith

is there any other option?
than to sing on the dubious way of putting humanity
where no lips service is rendered
but only social commitment is offered

let us not fall on false lines
and define
the academician's role
that calls upon only lip service

we want no human bondage
but take out our souls from the cage
we are living in the world of duplicity
that is not at all appreciated by an almighty
