Splintered Poem by Eric The Viking

Splintered

Darkness shares no light
For me- only splinters
From dirt and leaves they sow
My dwelling- of cellar smells
Cold and damp
Lost to the transient glow
Guarded by limestone rock
I hear a whispered wail
Of sorrowed tone
Faint from the sunken cell
