Splitting Visions Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Splitting Visions

Splitting visions.
Some may have them,
And for them make sense.
Yet others are not convinced,
Their point of view to keep believed...
Could never have been lived deceived.

Splitting visions.

Faith to live it everyday,
Takes a doing it with prayer.
Faith to live it everyday,
Stays aware of truth to obey.
And not easily tricked to dupe and fool.
By those choosing which minds to abuse.

Splitting visions.

People stripped of faith,
Have splitting visions.
And easily to make them victims.
Unprepared and without faith,
To rely upon each day.

Splitting visions.

Welcome wrong decisions to praise.
And not to know,
How they've been used to be fools.
Everyday.
Accepting to be duped and abused.
Everyday.

Depending on those who have splitting visions,
Are deceivers.
Depending on those who have splitting visions,
Are the ones who dupe.
Choosing this to do to victimize.
Those tricked and fooled.
Choosing this to do to victimize!
