Spring Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Spring

Rating: 5.0

Icy morning fingers continue to explore
The sprigs of Spring much to her chagrin
Frozen flakes shiver as they fall once more
Soon to be dissolve as gentle raindrops begin

Unwillingly Winter’s grip is slipping away
Surrendering to gentler ways that nourish
Inching warmth prevails… as gray clouds stray
Allowing green growth and blossoms to flourish
